A. While logging-in, just click on ‘Forgot Password’ and then enter your registered email address. We will send you a link to reset your password to your registered email address and then you can enter the new password.

A. Please note that it is not mandatory to select your stream from the drop-down menu. You can write whichever stream you want in the stream section and then click on Save or Update. For eg. - Select your degree from the drop-down menu as Master of Arts (M.A.) and write your stream as Ancient History.

If you are still not able to find your degree in the drop-down menu then, please drop a query here regarding the same.
Note: Even if you are still pursuing the degree, mention it in your profile. In the 'end year' write the probable year in which you will be graduating.

A. If a skill that you want to add to your resume is not available in the ‘Skills’ section then please drop a query here regarding the same and we will look into the feasibility of adding that particular skill to our list. Also, in the meantime, you can add any relevant detail in the ‘Additional Skills’ section.

A. You can apply for the internships using the following steps-

  • After you find an internship of your choice, click on "View Details" to get details about the company and the internship.
  • Go through the details thoroughly and apply for the internship if your profile matches the requirements of the company.

  • If already a registered user, click on "Apply Now" and follow the mentioned steps to submit your application.

  • If not registered, please register at this link- https://internshala.com/registration/student, and then follow the above process.

A. An application once submitted cannot be edited or canceled back. We would suggest you review the answers properly before submitting it in future.

A. Internshala issues a Certificate of Selection after 7 days of getting hired. It can be downloaded from your 'Applications'. In case your application status has not been updated to 'Hired' then, please write to us regarding the same and also attach the Offer Letter of the internship so that we can update your application status and then, you will be able to download the Certificate of Selection after 7 days. 

A. Follow the steps given below to change your email id- 

  1. For web users

    1. Click on ‘change email id’ option

    2. Type your new email id in the box

    3. After this, a verification mail is sent to the new id and an alert mail on the new id

    4. After verifying, you will be logged out of Internshala and redirected to the log-in page (this ensures the security of your account)

    5. You are expected to log-in from your old email id and the password. Once you log in, your email id will be updated

  2. For app users- We do not have the option of 'update email address' for the app users. You can drop a query here from the new email id, copying the current one (the id with which you are registered) and send it to us. We will update the account.

A. Please drop a query here from the registered email address. We will delete the account.

  • Click on the icon (first letter of your name) in the top right corner of the page.

  • Then, click on More > Manage Account > Delete My Account.

A. You cannot apply for the same internship again for which your application has been rejected. Please apply for the other internships and improve the chances of getting hired.

If you're still not able to find internships of your preference,  even after searching for it in the search bar, then it is possible that we don't have internships in that particular category/ location currently. However, hundreds of internships are posted on our platform across various categories/locations every day. So, we suggest you keep checking our platform time to time to see if internships are available in your preferred category/location or not.

Also, you can subscribe to our weekly digest and we will send you a list of the latest internships available (please make sure you have filled-in your preferences and city in which you want an internship while registering/signing-up).

A.  In a ‘work from home’ internship you don’t have to go to an office to work. You can work from the comfort of your home. The employer will send you all the work through emails or in some cases over internet-based text message applications along with the date of submission of the work. You can choose your work hours (unless asked by the employer to work on specific hours) and then submit the work to the employer through the email or to any other channel the employer may have asked you to upload it too.
A.  Yes, of course, you can apply for the internships on Internshala. We are open to all. There’s no restriction in the form of age, degree, etc. in order to apply for internships on Internshala.

A. Absolutely not! It’s a free platform. You need not pay anything to apply for the internships.

A.  A campus ambassador is the face and voice of the company in his/her campus. As a campus ambassador, you will be responsible for organizing various marketing and promotional activities such as hosting workshops, seminars, social media promotions, and so on.

A. Yes, you can apply for the internships on Internshala. The details regarding visa and accommodation would be given by the employer once you are hired for the internship.

A. Usually, it takes 2-3 weeks for the employer to go through all the applications and select the shortlisted applicants. However, it is possible that if you don’t get a response from the employer within this period or your application status remains ‘Applied’ or ‘Seen’ then, it is best that you apply for other internships as sometimes the employer might not contact the applicants who have not been selected for the internship.

A. It means that you have successfully applied for the internship and your application has been shared with the employer.

A. It means that your application has been seen by the employer and they will get in touch with you if they like your application.

A. It means that the employer has sent you a message regarding the further procedure required in the selection process. Please check your chatbox after logging to your Internshala account and respond accordingly.

A. This means that the employer has obtained its desired applicant(s) and as for now shut the hiring process. It may be possible that the employer will consider you later if a vacancy exists in the future. In the meantime, we suggest that you apply for other internships so that you do not miss out on any opportunity.





A. It means that unfortunately, your application was rejected and you have not been selected for the internship. We suggest you improve your applications and keep applying for various other internships to increase your chances of getting hired.

We recommend you do not continue with the internship until the issue is resolved, however, if you still want to do the internship then, you may proceed at your own risk. We will not be responsible if any problem arises during the internship.

If you come across any such incident where the stipend/ profile mentioned on Internshala and the offer letter do not match, then, please drop a query  here regarding the same and also attach the offer letter along with the email/text conversation between you and the employer so that we can go through the issue and take necessary actions. However, if you want to continue with the internship and accept the offer made by the employer then you may do so at your own risk.

A. In that case, please write an email to the employer regarding the issue and also try to connect with them over phone or text messages. If you do not get a response within 2-3 days or the employer refuses to give you the stipend or completion certificate, then drop a query here regarding the same and also attach your offer letter and the email/text conversation you were having with the employer so that we can go through the issue and take necessary actions.
