Frontier Market is a renewable energy company that was founded in Jaipur in 2011 by our Founder & CEO Ms. Ajaita Shah. She has over 10 years of experience in micro-finance and rural development in India. She realized the challenges in access to reliable and safe electricity in Rajasthan. Her vision was to create a company that could serve rural villages with access to safe and reliable solar solutions with after-sales service. We see that the major challenge of solar is that products are not trusted and nobody provides service if there is a problem, Frontier Markets builds trust with rural households and helps them fight the challenges of lack of electricity. Our vision is to combine capacity building & renewable energy in rural areas where power is limited. We work on service model (pre sale and post sale services) by touching the life of low income groups. Currently, we work in 15 districts of Rajasthan and in Andhra Pradesh.
