We are “Friends of ART” an NGO charitable trust registered in 2012 (Registration No. 3876). It is an initiative by a group of young passionate artists to further the arts scenario around us. The main objective is to make art accessible to people provide support to contemporary visual & performing artists from diverse fields. The key vision is to take contemporary art to the highest possible level, making art accessible to all and allowing people to open their minds creatively.   www.yesfoa.org

Arts today stands at a point where upcoming artists have very limited avenues to be heard and creativity is seen as exclusive to the artists. When in reality everyone weaves through life creatively finding their own and art is only a reflection of life . ART is around us and we are all artists,in our own way . The mission is to Engage society through the arts, Educate audiences about creativity and arts and finally to   Express one’s own self distinctively through the arts.  We at Friends of ART want to create a programs and platforms for artists through which they can showcase their work, interact with audience, generate funds for new projects, be mentored by established artists and bridge the understanding of arts and artistic  view points to general audiences

In Delhi  have initiated “Contemporary Arts Week“ ,It is a First of  its kind multi –venue  broad spectrum  arts week in India, which showcases work of multi-disciplinary  emerging young contemporary artists from all over India , works from theatre, dance, music, visual art, short films, puppetry   , clowning and more  will be showcased in a contained space  , to make it easily accessible for audiences  much like a food court but for art  .

we are currently working towards more events that will aide in making art accessible and help in bridging gap between artist and audiences .
