About Flatabout.com

Flatabout.com is a start-up by three IIT-Delhi graduates, aiming to capture the living experiences of every tenant out there in the world. In simpler words, we are trying to build “Zomato for flats”. We are in stealth mode right now and so neither our website nor the fanpage is active, but we plan to launch on 20th July and help people book flats.

The current model where the landowners or brokers list the property is not transparent since they conceal a lot of information that the prospective tenant finds out only upon moving. Didn’t you ever hear from your friends — how the landlord didn’t outline that s/he minds friends visiting over and once they shifted, the troubles began? Or how the house seemed nice in the first look, but once you moved you found out that there’s water problem. The idea is to shift the power away from the landlords and towards the tenants, making the landlords more accountable and the renting process more transparent.
