About Feeding India

Feeding India is a growing not-for-profit social enterprise run by "Hunger Heroes", a not for profit organization registered under the Indian Society Registration Act 1860. Feeding India connects two major social challenges: Hunger and Food waste as a solution for each other. We tackle these challenges by channelizing excess food from hotels, weddings, restaurants, etc. to the people who really need it and have no means or access to food.

Our belief is that we do not need to create new food to feed the less privileged, but to simply direct the extra food which is already created. We also tackle the problem at its roots, where we encourage people not to waste food at all.

In less than 8 months, in Delhi NCR alone, we have fed close to 30,000 meals to the needy.
