Edumonks is an early stage startup in education sector started by Alumnus of IIM Calcutta and NITIE. The sector is huge and has massive potential. Indian education industry is expected to grow to about 97 billion dollars by 2015 . Our motto is enabling education and our goal is to be India's Gateway to Best Education. We want to be the partner in students' journey throughout their academic life. We will start with an information portal and then grow into a social marketplace where we will provide a platform for various stakeholders to interact and provide services. We want to bring in a fresh, dynamic & technology driven approach sprinkled with a little creativity to innovatively disrupt the complicated & exhausting mess this sector has become. We're aiming to change things for the better, hopefully sooner than later. In the first phase we have already started the Scholarship Informational portal and we intend to expand our offerings on a monthly basis.
