Edubridge is a Training & Education organisation started by a group of IIM alumni and professors in   October 2009. It has been setup with the vision of fulfilling the skill gap that exists currently between the youth in semi-urban/ rural areas and the skill requirement of the corporates. It aims at furthering the government’s objective of developing employable skills among the youth and connecting them with job opportunities with Corporate India. Edubridge seeks to be the link that connects corporates with talent from semi-urban/ rural areas and vice versa. In this endeavour, it has partnered and has been approved by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), an entity setup under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Edubridge was recently awarded “The best performing start-up” by NSDC for the high quality work done in 2011-12. They are also backed by a well reputed Venture Capital Firm “Acumen Fund”. Edubridge is one the first investees of Acumen Fund in India in the education space.

Through partnerships with corporates and leading academicians of the country, Edubridge brings together the right mix of academic rigour and practical relevance to the training curriculum which is customized for different sectors. The youth are put through a rigorous 3-8 week training programme which helps develop the skills required by corporate clients. Edubridge’s unique proposition is to closely work with industry partners to make the course as practically relevant as possible and make the candidates job-ready from day 1. The curriculum is also customised specifically as per the skill requirements of clients to ensure that the students fit perfectly with the client’s requirements.

Edubridge has its presence currently in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh with plans of expanding across India in the next 12 months. The youth are trained in these states and offered to corporates across the country for their operations.

The management team of Edubridge brings with itself more than 50 years of cumulative experience of working with some of the largest institutions/organisations globally like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, Mckinsey & Co, Procter & Gamble, Cisco, Microsoft, ICICI and Edelweiss. With such varied experience across sectors, Edubridge aims at catering to some of the high growth sectors like BFSI, IT/ ITES (BPOs), Retail, FMCG and Telecom with its manpower solutions.

We, at Edubridge, strongly believe in facilitating inclusive growth for our country. Thereby, through our efforts of linking the corporates with high quality trained talent from semi-urban and rural areas, we provide the opportunity to these youth to work in some of the world’s leading organisations while providing the answer to the requirement of a low cost and well trained workforce to our corporate clients.
