Dharma Life is an early stage social enterprise that works towards bringing inclusive growth to communities living in rural India, through the creation of livelihoods in rural areas and building a market for social impact products that improve the quality of life. We work primarily over six cause areas:
- Access to Clean Energy
- Access to Clean Drinking Water
- Indoor Air Pollution
- Nutrition
- Health and Hygiene
- Livelihood and Lifestyle
As on June 2014, Dharma Life has impacted over 1 million lives - with a network of more than 2000 village entrepreneurs operating across five states in India (Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka and Rajasthan). By 2020 we expect to reach 50 million consumers and have a network of 100,000 Dharma Life Entrepreneurs.
Dharma Life has developed as a professional organization, with the appropriate back end systems that support the successful delivery on the ground, making it the rural distribution partner of choice for many organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Unilever, Bata and Singer among others.
