Arya Motor Company was founded to design, manufacture and market Electric Vehicles on the pretext of making transportation smart and affordable, empowering all segments of society. It has since worked on product development under its CRT policy with real users and has tested technology, products, systems and strategy on ground.

It’s driven by a vision to become a leading EV technology and manufacturing company globally and to create an eco-system, not just products.

The company has completed the development of its first platform and has begun work on the next-gen platform. It is creating connected vehicles with advanced telematics.

The company, at all times, keeps its responsibility towards society first. It has announced the launch of its 3rd product, the ‘Nirbhaya’. Nirbhaya, an electric scooter aimed at empowering women, will be offered to all women buyers at 10% lesser than male buyers and will have an on-vehicle GPS and GPRS enabled SOS device for the safety and peace of mind of its riders, both global firsts. The vehicle will be offered with women friendly financing options.

Arya Motor Company has set for itself a goal of becoming a 1 million unit a year company by 2020. This would translate into a 20 to 25% market share as per industry projections which expect the Indian EV market to be at 6-7 million units annually by 2020, of which, 4-5 million will be two wheelers.
